Well what a close result! We have a new veterans champion for 2008, Mike O’Gorman takes this years festival title in what has been the closest result we have had since the festival started. There were doubts in having the festival at this time of year, but this had been the only week that enables us to use the best possible lakes for the festival, we have found it has worked better this way and will be keeping the festival at the end of the October.

Mike has had a cracking and by the looks of it just bagging one extra fish has pipped Malc Proctor from making it a hat trick!

Thank you once again and well done to all the anglers that fished with us and hopefully we shall see you next year (and we shall give you plenty of notice for the coach trip bring arranged by Jamie for the Friday!!)

Thanks to all once again, Kirsty
