  Silver Winners Week Festival 2008
This week we have a mini festival for all the anglers that have won a Silver match throughout the year. It is a three-day festival that is being fished on Twin Oaks 1-18, Twin Oaks 19-36 and Acorn. Thirteen anglers are fishing this year for a £1000 prize sponsored by Parkdean Holidays.

Day One

A Section Twin Oaks 1-18
Sid Love got his festival off to a great start winning the lake with 90lb 8oz; Sid was on peg 14 and caught on the bomb with soft pellets. Second was Kev Polhill on peg 8 with 47lb 2oz, Kev caught on the bomb with pellets.

B Section Twin Oaks 19 – 36
The lake winner today was Matt Prior on peg 30, Matt caught on the tip with pellet, corn and worm for a weight of 43lb 6oz. Gary Howells was second with 27lb 14oz, Gary was on peg 22 and caught on the bomb with red maggot.

C Section Acorn
The lake was won today with 44lb 4oz; this came from Neil Anstice on peg 15 who caught on chopped worm and caster. Scott Bradshaw was second; Scott was on peg 9 and caught on the meat feeder for a weight of 33lb 5oz.

A Section Twin Oaks 19 – 36
The lake winner today was Ian Williamson on peg 26, Ian caught on the bomb with pellet for a weight of 32lb 2oz. Gary Moore was second with 30lb 1oz, Gary was on peg 30 and caught on the short pole with caster.

B Section Acorn
The weights were close on Acorn today with one exception and that was the lake winner Tony Oatley, Tony was on peg 17 and caught on the long pole with pellet for an impressive weight of 71lb 5oz. Kev Penfold was second with 26lb 9oz, Kev was on peg 9 and caught on the long pole with chopped worm.

C Section Twin Oaks 1-18
The lake winner today was Ryan Watson on peg 12, Ryan had a great weight of 85lb 15oz caught on the bomb and pellet. Second with 75lb 5oz was Neil Anstice, Neil was on peg 8 and caught on chopped worm and caster.

A Section
headed to Acorn for the final day and Gary Moore was the lake winner today on peg 15, Gary had a weight of 45lb. Second with 39lb 5oz was Ian Williamson on peg 9.

B section
finished the festival on Twin Oaks pegs 1-18 where the lake winner today was Kev Penfold, Kev was on peg 14 and had a weight of 79lb 8oz. Neil Hirst had the next best weight, Neil had a weight of 57lb 3oz from peg 16.

C section
finished on the high numbers of Twin Oaks and once again it fished well. Ryan Watson was the lake winner on peg 30 with a weight of 78lb 1oz. Neil Anstice on peg 26 had the next best weight with 36lb 8oz.
