This year the UK is promoting angling with a whole month dedicated to the sport, the intention is to get as many people on to or back on to the banks as possible. Angling is a sport that is accessible to all ages, genders and ability and White Acres has lined up an action packed month to promote the sport.
Starting on the 17th of July and continuing for a month White Acres have split this into 4 weeks and have invited some of the top brands in angling and their sponsored anglers down to White Acres to promote fishing for all.
On Mondays White Acres offers free tuition to juniors and ladies and throughout National Fishing Month these sessions will be extended and also have top names anglers on hand offering help and support to the anglers. It is a great chance for juniors to get into the sport or to hone their skills and the same for the ladies.
On Tuesdays there will be various demonstrations from the sponsored anglers with guests getting the chance to really get involved and get a hands on approach to the latest products and getting advice from the professionals
Wednesday night there will be a live questions & answers session where the professional anglers take to the stage to take questions from the crowd.
Thursdays is the Rover match at White Acres and the anglers will be on hand to offer peg choice advice and then walk the banks during the match to offer top suggestions.
The first top brand to confirm for National Fishing month is one of the leading names is fishing – Garbolino. Commencing Saturday 17th July this will be the Garbolino week and the stars lined up so far include Darren Cox, Simon Fry, Harry Billing & Richie Hull.
