Welcome to the 2008 season at White Acres.
My name is Kevin and I am your new General
Manager, I am joined here with my partner Caroline
and our young son Callum. Although I have only
recently moved to the area I have been with
Parkdean Holidays for many years, having managed
another of our parks in South Wales at Trecco Bay.
It is like coming home for me as I was brought up in
Cornwall as a child and have many fond memories
of my time here.
Since I arrived in early January I have been very
busy getting to know all the staff and getting
involved in the planning of our two new owner
developments, Foxglove Meadow and Sycamore
Forest. I look forward to meeting you all at our
Owner Events throughout this summer season.
General Manager
Cold winter days, dark early nights will soon be a
thing of the past as yet another season is upon us!
Your Holiday Homes Sales Team are excited and
looking forward to another great year at White
Acres. We are busy planning a programme of
events for the season and hope to see you all
participating...they have proved a great success in
previous years as it gives you a chance to meet new
faces and catch up with staff and friends.
Kate and I would also like to welcome a new face
to our team - Pete Houghton who is new to
Holiday Home Sales. I am sure you will all look
forward to meeting him and giving him a warm
welcome as we have done.
Finally, our two new developments; 'Fox Glove and
Sycamore' are flying ahead and what a great
improvement they have already brought to our
park.
It’s onwards and upwards we all look forward to
seeing you soon...

Hello one and all,
Just a quick note to welcome you all to the 2008
season. We have spent a lot of time in updating
both our catering and bar menus; hopefully the
changes will meet your approval!
Max's catering department is introducing some
fantastic new dishes to his menu and with the
return of his award winning head chef we are
looking forward to an excellent start to the season.
Nicki has added some new cocktails to our range -
your sterling efforts at the end of season party
made the decisions that much easier you see!
Also we are introducing a new range of organic and
speciality fruit ciders, as well as reinvigorating the
Beers of the World menu. Alongside this there will
be a non alcoholic cocktail range for the little'uns.
Staff wise I am happy to say that all our retail
managers and supervisors will be returning for this
season, so the quality of service and product can
only get better and better.
Looking forward to seeing you soon

Complex Manager
Welcome to a new season at White Acres. Over
the winter the team have been extra busy with a
major haircut on all the lakes. The idea of coppicing
in this way is to allow as much wind into the water
as possible, increasing oxygen levels and making for
happy fish.
Winter matches have produced Carp weights up to
160lb and plenty of silver fish bags exceeding 50lb.
We have also spread extra fish from our fish farm
into Trelawney, Canal and Acorn to make the fishing
even better.
The tackle shop has also had a spring clean, making
it nice and fresh for the opening of the season.
Some more parking has been provided behind the
shop creating an extra 25 spaces so you have less
walking to do!
Look forward to seeing you all soon.
