Welcome to the White Acres Dynamite Baits Festival 2015. This week we had a full house to fish but due to a few last minute cancellations we still have 174 in total!

Fishing over 5 days in 9 peg sections, the anglers will be rotating over Pollawyn, Twin Oaks/ Trelawney, Jennys/Trewaters, Porth and Bolingey.

Day One

‘A’ Section, Pollawyn

Today’s winner on Pollawyn was Paul Taylor on peg 45 with 137lb 8oz fishing at 16 metres on pellet. Andy Nelson on peg 10 finished in second place weighing in at 81lb. Andy caught with caster and method feeder. Finishing third with 79lb 12oz was Chris Whitworth with pellet and waggler from peg 25. Andy Dargue took fourth place on peg 26 weighing in at 77lb 12oz

In first place fishing from peg 51 Trewaters was Tommy Hillier with a weight of 111lb 7oz, Tommy fished meat on short pole and finishing the day catching down the edge. John Whincup took second place on Trewaters peg 49 with a weight of 103lb 6oz. John caught shallow with pellet and meat down the edge. Finishing in third place was Stewart Bracey on peg 21 Jennys with 98lb 12oz. With a weight of 97lb 14oz Alan Scotthorne finished fourth place on peg 39 Trewaters fishing method feeder up the bank

Lee Thornton finished in second place with a weight of 148lb 6oz on peg 8 Twin Oaks fishing short with meat. In third place was Tommy Pickering on peg 2 Twin Oaks with 144lb 2oz. Tommy fished method and down the edge with pellet. With a weight of 121lb 12oz was Dave Bruton from peg 10 on Twin Oaks

Lee Kerry took first place today on Porth with a weight of 23lb 1oz, Lee caught on the feeder and waggler at distance from peg 88. With 18lb 13oz Richie Hull caught with waggler on peg 20. On peg 71 Harry Billing finished in fourth place with a weight of 18lb 12oz fishing pinkies long and caster down the edge

With 148lb Dean Hunt finished first on Bolingey today on peg 46. Dean caught long on corn and in the margins. In second place James Taylor weighed in at 137lb 7oz on peg 28, he fished shallow with pellet. Wayne Nolan finished third on peg 50 with 136lb fishing long pole and pellet. Fishing shallow with meat from peg 27 was Martin Beardsmore who took fourth place with 129lb 12oz

Day Two

‘A’ Section, Trewaters and Jennys

Andy Nelson finished top of A section today with 131lb on Trewaters fishing the long pole with 4mm pellet from peg 37. Andy Dargue on peg 27 Trewaters finished in second place weighing in at 104lb 7oz, he fished short on 6mm pellet. Finishing third on peg 17 Jennys with 97lb 8oz was James Granger. Fishing shallow and 5 metres with 6mm pellet was Antonio Poynter who took fourth place on peg 51 Trewaters weighing in at 88lb 2oz.

In first place on peg 14 Trelawney was Johnny Maddison with a massive weight of 212lb 8oz, Johnny fished the 14 metre pole with 6mm pellet. Martin Holmes took second place on peg 35 Twin Oaks with a weight of 143lb 13oz catching pellet feeder and meat down the edge. Finishing in third place was Alan Tuck on peg 16 Twin Oaks with 127lb 12oz fishing at 14 metres. With a weight of 119lb 8oz Sam Powell finished in fourth place fishing meat down the edge from peg 12 on Twin Oaks.

In third place was Lee Thornton on peg 18 with a weight of 14lb 7oz fishing shallow with maggot.
With a weight of 13lb 14oz was Wayne Sharman on peg 24 fishing method.

John Raby was the lake winner today on Bolingey with a weight of 161lb 6oz on peg 27. John fished short with pellet. With 150lb 4oz Frankie Gianoncelli took second place fishing the long pole from peg 45. On peg 28 Richie Hull finished in third place with a weight of 148lb catching meat on short. Lee Wright took fourth place on peg 36 with 131lb 12oz.

Finishing third on peg 16 Twin Oaks with a weight of 119lb 6oz was James Granger. Andy Nelson took fourth place on peg 6 Trelawney weighing in at 113lb 2oz.

The lake winner of Porth today, fishing waggler, maggot and caster from peg 33 was Paul Holland with a weight of 22lb 1oz. John Whincup took second place on peg 39 with a weight of 16lb 2oz. John fished at 7 metres with pinkies. Finishing in third place was Malcolm Dunlop on peg 71 with 14lb fishing method and boilies. With a weight of 13lb 14oz Mark Pollard finished in fourth place on peg 72.

Chris Kitchin took fourth place on peg 77 weighing in at 13lb 5oz.

In first place on peg 36 was Paul Holland with a huge weight of 211lb 11oz, Paul caught with pellets at 8 metres. Gareth Malham took second place on peg 7 with a weight of 196lb fishing pellet in the margins.
Finishing in third place fishing down the edge with pellets was Martin Holmes on peg 11 with 194lb.
With a weight of 163lb 6oz Steve Clark finished fourth place on peg 27.

With 112lb on Trewaters Richard Bond finished second on peg 27 catching out shallow to start the day with 30lb in the first 3 hours and then later on fishing down the edge. On peg 37 Trewaters Simon Gould finished in fourth place with a weight of 102lb 13oz. Simon fished on feeder down the edge with meat bagging himself mainly F1’s.Fishing shallow in the margins was Bobby Shirlock from peg 19 Jennys with 85lb 14oz.

Steve Conway on peg 11 finished in second place weighing in at 188lb 6oz, Steve caught in the margins with pellet. Finishing third on peg 17 with a weight of 153lb 12oz was Paul Taylor fishing 4 metres with bomb. Andy Nelson took fourth place on peg 30 weighing in at 152lb 6oz catching with pellet down the edge.

Dynamite Baits 2015 Winner – Paul Holland

We have come to the end of this year’s Dynamite festival and what a week it’s been. The weather has been great with glorious sunshine all week with just Friday being a bit drizzly and it has fished really well with weights going into the 200’s, the biggest weight of the week went to Johnny Maddison on peg 14 Trelawney with a massive 212lb 8oz on day 2 well done Johnny.

But there can be only one winner, congratulations to Paul Holland for winning his second festival at White Acres this year and bagging himself the £3000 top prize. Paul won his section 4 days in a row securing himself first place, well done Paul.

Finishing a close second was Johnny Maddison and in third place was Rob Wootton well done guys
