Welcome to the Maver Festival 2008

Welcome to the first of the White Acres Autumn Festivals of 2008.
We are looking forward to seeing all of you at the Maver Festival.

I enclose some information about the festival that you may find of help and interest when planning for this year’s festival. Included are details of the festival, format, rules and bait allowances. The rules are designed to ensure that the festival is run to the highest possible standards and is fair to all competitors and enjoyable for competitors and spectators alike. Please take some time to read the rules as there are a few slight changes and do contact me if there is anything you don’t understand or would like to discuss.

Should you require any information on the lakes please visit our web site www.news-reel.com. If you do not have access to the internet please contact us and we can post the information to you. Due to the closure of Gwinear we have formatted the lakes to the best of our ability but please take note the lakes are subject to change.

To ensure our festivals remain at the highest standards for top payouts and prizes we have once again secured generous sponsorship from tackle giants Maver who are donating a huge £3000 worth of their top quality products to the Maver festival. White Acres would like to take this opportunity to thank Maver for their continuing support.

Parkdean Holidays are also sponsoring all of our Autumn Festivals including this festival to add to the total prize fund. We will be carrying out spot bait checks throughout the festival and there will be penalties (including not taking any further part in the festival) for any angler not complying with our rules.

On the morning of the first draw you will be required to sign confirm that you agree to the White Acres Festival Rules. If you are not able to do so you will not be permitted to fish the festival and will not be refunded any entrance fees.

You can contact the fisheries team on 01726 862526/519.

Once again I and the rest of the fisheries team at White Acres look forward to seeing you at the Festival.

Yours Sincerely

Kirsty Byrne
