Fishing Ponds at Ruda
There
are 2 ponds and fish include carp (ghost & golden), roach, tench, perch, rudd & eel.

Pond 1 is approx 200-300 metres around

Pond 2 is approx 300-400 metres around

Depth at deepest point approx 10 feet.

Lake beds made up of silt.
- Ideal
bait sweetcorn &/or maggots.
Rules:- no barbed hooks, no keep nets, must use disgorger, all
fish must be returned to ponds The ponds host the country's 3rd largest toad colony (Southwest's
largest). Plus we have an otter and a rare orchid. | |
