Not a lot to report this week. The Carp have slowed right up at the moment as they seem to be pairing up ready for spawning. There has been the odd fish out from both Pats and Nelsons to just over 20 lbs and most anglers I spoke to have been catching on essential cell wafters or pop up presentations.

Pat’s is still fishing OK it seem the fish meal type baits are fairing better at the moment with sticky baits the krill doing the business as Ben Randell from Norfolk proved taking several; carp to just under 20lbs and 6 cats to 40lb plus Ben fished from peg 8 with a standard bottom bait approach and fed little and often after each fish.
Sam wood from Norfolk also managed to bank several carp to just under the 20lb mark sams fish also fell to stick baits the Krill well done lads.

Nelson’s is still on top form wit carp to 23lb and cats to 40lb being caught again the fish meal type baits are doing the business. Sticky baits blood-worm seem to be the going bait on Nelson’s for both the cats and carp and it seem that the anglers who are putting a bit of bait in are the top rods.
