Milo Festival 2016 from White Acres

Welcome to the White Acres Milo Festival 2016.

We have 176 anglers fishing over 5 days in 9 peg sections rotating daily between lakes Pollawyn, Twin Oaks/Trelawney, Trewaters/Acorn/canal, Porth and Bolingey. With the arrival weekend being the hottest so far this year it was looking set to be a good week on the fishing front but day one had torrential rain in the afternoon! But this didn’t put a dampener on the great weights we had coming in. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Milo for sponsoring the festival for another year.

Read on to see how the anglers fished on their first day…
