It’s that time of year again, the Preston festival is on and this year we have a full house of 180 anglers fishing over 9 peg sections rotating daily between lakes over 5 days. The lakes being used this year are Pollawyn, Twin Oaks / Trelawney, Trewaters / Acorn/Canal, Porth and Bolingey.
The top 24 anglers at the end of the week will go on to fish our prestigious Parkdean Masters this Saturday on Jenny’s where the biggest weight at the end of the day wins a massive £25,000 so the pressures on!
The weather on last week’s Maver festival was glorious sunshine all week but unfortunately this week has taken a turn and is drizzly and cold, so let’s see how this affects the anglers…
