Day Three

We have 70 anglers fishing over 5 days in 7 peg sections rotating between Twin Oaks, Trelawney, Jennys, Pollawyn, Sycamore and Python, the weather has very been cold with showers again today. Read on for day three results……

‘A’ Section Pollawyn

Today’s winner on Pollawyn was Darren Cox peg 26 with 30lb 6oz, Darren fished the long pole with pinkies over ground bait. Simon Fry managed second place with 24lb 7oz from peg 19. Finishing third on peg 22 with a weight of 21lb 10oz was Stewart Lister and Matthew Parkin took fourth place on peg 28 weighing in at 21lb.

‘B’ Section Sycamore and Python

First place on Python was Mark Fox from peg 17 with 23lb 12oz. Second place on the day was Jon Arthur from peg 8 also on Python with 21lb 7oz. Nathanial Hughes on Python peg 15 finished in third place both with a weigh of 15lb 13oz and finishing in fourth place was Graham Tappenden on Sycamore with 15lb 10oz from peg 15.

‘C’ Section Twin Oaks

First place was Ramon Ansing from peg 23 with 111lb 10oz, Ramon fished the long pole in the margins with maggot over ground bait. Second on the day was Steve Sanders from peg 25 with 63lb 8oz. Third place Nail Maillinson from peg 27 with 44lb 5oz. Fourth place went to Andrew Cranston from peg 12 with 31lb.

‘D’ Section Trelawney

Mick Vials took first place today with a weight of 32lb 13oz from peg 15, Second place on the day was Glen Lawrence from peg 30 with 31lb 3oz. Third place went to Steve Harwood from peg 5 with 27lb 10oz and fourth place went to Paul Sanderson from peg 9 with 24lb 5oz.

Paul Newell took first place on peg 8 with a weight of 28lb 12oz, Paul fished with the waggler using corn. Second place went to Ben Lawrence from peg 16 with 27lb 8oz. Third place jointly went to Wayne Swiscoe from peg 3 with 27lb and Dean Kenworthy from peg 7 also with a weight of 27lb. Fourth place went to Harry Billing from peg 6 with 20lb
